## What your bill depends on

Bicho software

Free to use, modify, and self-host. Commercial use is allowed.

Your Cloudflare resources

Workers requests and compute, D1 queries and storage, and R2 usage. Your provider’s pricing and allowances apply.

Your agent and model

Bring the tools you already use. Any subscription or API charges belong to that provider.

## Pricing questions

### Is Bicho really free?

Yes. The Bicho core and SDKs are open source under Apache-2.0. You can use, modify, and self-host the software, including for commercial projects. You do not need a Bicho subscription.

[Read the software licenses](/license/)

### What do I pay for?

You pay Cloudflare for the resources your installation uses, subject to your account’s plan and allowances. Bicho runs on Workers, with metadata in D1 and captured evidence in private R2 storage. Your bill depends on traffic, queries, and stored data.

[Understand operating costs and limits](/docs/operations/#quotas-cost-and-storage-growth)

### Do I need a paid AI subscription?

Bicho does not bundle an AI service. If you connect an agent, its model or service costs are separate and depend on the tools you choose. You can also use the authenticated HTTP API without an AI agent.

[Use the HTTP API](/docs/api/)

### How many errors can I store?

There is no hosted event allowance included with Bicho. Capacity depends on your Cloudflare plan, your installation’s resources, and configured project quotas. Events are append-only; the core does not automatically delete old errors, so plan for storage growth.

[Read the operating limits](/docs/operations/)

### Where can I get help?

Ask setup and usage questions in GitHub Discussions, or report reproducible bugs in the source repository. Community support does not include a guaranteed response time or service-level agreement.
